Pre-Trial Court Visit

As a prosecution witness, you are entitled to ask to visit the court before your trial, in order to familiarise yourself with the surroundings.  Victim Support NI’s Witness Service can help you with this, and will explain court layout, processes and jargon.

This video shows one of our Witness Service Co-ordinators conducting a pre-trial court familiarisation visit in one of the courtrooms in Laganside Court, Belfast.  While this video will give you an idea of the layout of a court, please bear in mind that each courtroom is different, and if you opt for a pre-trial familiarisation visit, your tour will be personalised.
